Recently the results of a study conducted by Institut Pasteur study were published in the JCO Clinical Cancer Informatics journal. The study was conducted with 18 surgeons from the gynecological, breast, and reconstructive cancer surgery department at Institut Curie.
The publication titled “Breast MRI Analysis for Surgeons Using Virtual Reality: A Comparative Study”, shows that AVATAR MEDICAL provides faster and more accurate analysis of breast tumors and better prediction of the surgical procedure compared to viewing this same MRIs in a PACS viewer.
