AVATAR MEDICAL™ is a PR[AI]RIE startup

We are proud to announce that AVATAR MEDICAL™ has become a PR[AI]RIE startup. 

The PRAIRIE Institute (PaRis AI Research InstitutE) is one of four French Institutes of Artificial Intelligence, which were created as part of the national French initiative on AI announced by President Emmanuel Macron on May 29, 2018. PRAIRIE’s dual mission comprises pursuing world-class research and education in collaboration with industry leaders. 

Inclusion into the PRAIRIE ecosystem will grant AVATAR MEDICAL™ access to a rich scientific knowledge base that will help scale our virtual reality solution for surgeons. Our CSO & co-founder, Jean-Baptiste Masson, holds a PRAIRIE chair.
